Non-smoking, handicap-accessible standard room in our Main building offering one queen bed and comfortable furniture and private bath with shower.
The guestroom is equipped with standard queen bed, a small fridge/freezer unit, microwave, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, HDTV, executive desk and swivel chair, a bedside nightstand and queen bed. There is a lamp at the desk, a lamp at the bedside, and an overhead light at the entrance. The entrance light is operated by a switch 36” above the floor at the entrance door. There is a standard telephone and digital alarm clock at the bedside nightstand. The top of the mattress is 28” above the floor.
There is a 36-inch entrance door for the bathroom. The opening, with the door open, into the room is 32” – measured from the door to the opposite door jamb.
The bathroom is equipped with a chair height elongated bowl toilet. There is a grab bar next to the toilet. There is a small basin sink with a single lever handle faucet. The sink may be difficult for someone in a wheelchair to access. There is a step-in shower with a bench, grab bar and shower wand. There is a 6” step into the shower basin. The bathroom has a standard telephone on the wall between the toilet and sink and a wall-mounted hairdryer next to the sink. There is a light above the vanity operated by a switch 36” above the floor at the door.
The rooms are on the first floor of the South side of the building. ADA access into the building is from the North parking lot door at the middle of the building.

Due to the age of the building (built 1980’s), Ramada by Wyndham Helena offers ADA Accessible rooms that continue to meet the basic standards of ADA compliance. While the property is technically accessible, not all areas meet the newly revised 2012 guidelines. Every effort is made to offer any of our guest’s access to any area of the property. If any guest needs assistance accessing any part of the property, Jorgenson’s staff will make every effort to assist them.
Rooms are approximately 50’ from either the Lobby or North Parking lot door. There is a 36” entrance door for each room. The opening, with the door open, into the room is 32” – measured from the door to the opposite door jamb.
